FOP made simple!

1. Can I achieve OWNERSHIP in less than 5 years?

Yes! The FOP is designed around a 5-year plan, but Affiliates who accelerate their enrollment pace and maintain active subscribers can reach full ownership earlier. After reaching 135,000 SHARES, your F29 LIFESTYLE yacht can be delivered. 

2. How often can I use the yachts?

Use is unlimited. As a WOP Affiliate and active FARO SAILING Subscriber, you may sail as often as you wish at any FARO SAILING destination, depending on availability.

Each member or affiliate begins by sailing aboard a shared fleet yacht, typically with other FOP Affiliates and W Subscribers — along with their guests. Every yacht has a maximum capacity of 7 people, ensuring an intimate, enjoyable, and collaborative sailing experience.

Whether you're sailing with your crew, training a new Subscriber, or hosting friends, your subscription gives you full access to the FARO Lifestyle — as much as you want, when you want.

3. When will I receive my own yacht?

When you accumulate 75% of the required 135,000 SHARES, you may instruct W Sailing to begin manufacturing your yacht. It is delivered once you've reached 100% of ownership. 

4. Can I cash out instead of receiving a yacht?

Yes. Upon reaching 75% of the SHARES, you can opt to cash out instead of completing the yacht purchase. In that case, you receive $0.50 per SHARE for your personally enrolled Subscriber leads — up to $67,500 in value — and cancel the Purchase Agreement.

5. What kind of subscriptions can my CREW choose?

All members pay a FARO Sailing membership of $499/month (prices may vary according to different destinations). The FOP affiliate earns:

  • 50% commission from Subscribers enrolled in the Affiliate's crew

These commissions are converted into SHARES.

While other packages may be introduced later, the W Sailing membership of $499 subscription is the standard for WOP equity math.

6. Is the number of new Affiliates limited?

Yes. We selectively onboard new Affiliates to ensure each has the support, leads, and coaching to succeed. FOP is not about mass enrollment — it’s about building a curated community of future yacht owners with purpose.

7. Can I share a FOP contract with a partner or friend?

Yes. You may enroll as a joint FOP Affiliate. Only one $2,000 affiliation fee applies per joint contract, but each person must hold their own $499/month FARO SAILING subscription. All SHARES earned go into the joint account.

8. Are there any hidden costs?

None. The only cost is:

  • Your monthly $499 FARO SAILING subscription (prices may vary according to different destinations)

This is your only financial commitment. No maintenance fees, no ownership surprises, no interest charges. If your subscription lapses, however, you lose your right to earn SHARES and the SHARES acquired so far.

9. Do I need sailing experience to join FOP?

Not at all. You’ll start sailing immediately and gain experience organically. While no certifications or licenses are required to begin, we encourage you to pursue ASA 101/103 certifications as your confidence and autonomy grow. We'll help you learn fast and become a capable WOP Skipper.

10. What happens to my Subscribers after the FOP contract ends?

Once your 5-year FOP contract ends, you stop earning commissions, and the remaining members of the CREW are transferred to a W fleet yacht. Your relationship with FARO SAILING may continue, but outside the FOP commission structure.

11. What if one of my Subscribers becomes a FOP Affiliate?

Great news — that’s a natural step in the FARO SAILING journey! When one of your FARO Subscribers CREW members decides to upgrade and become a FOP Affiliate, you still benefit.

Nothing changes: they continue paying their monthly dues, generating SHARES of equity for you as long as they remain part of your original crew. Meanwhile, they begin working on building their own WOP crew, just like you did.

12. Is it hard to enroll 4 Subscribers per year?

Not with the right strategy. You don’t need to close sales yourself — just bring qualified leads (friends, contacts, guests). FARO SAILING closes for you. We’ll provide coaching, events, tools, and ongoing support to help you reach your enrollment KPIs.

13. What happens if I fall behind on enrollments?

First, don’t worry.
There are no penalties, no hidden fees, and no pressure.
FOP is an opportunity, not a financial burden. Life happens, and your journey doesn’t have to be perfect to be successful.

However, if you're not on track, you'll minimize your share-earning potential. That said, you always have options to regain momentum:

a) Regain momentum & keep moving forward

We all face ups and downs. The FOP is not a race — it’s a building strategy. With our ongoing coaching, support, and your qualified referrals, you will be back on target and continue growing at your own pace and complete your journey.

b) Create a joint account

If you feel that sharing the journey would help you thrive, you can partner with a friend or family member under a joint contract. It’s a great way to combine energy, split the progress, and double your drive. A small fee of 2,000 shares is applicable or deducted from SHARES or paid in cash.

14. Can I sell or transfer my FOP contract?

Yes. FOP contracts are transferable. A small fee of 2,000 shares is applicable or deducted from SHARES or paid in cash. The new Affiliate continues from your SHARE balance.

15. Will FARO Sailing help me with leads and coaching?

Yes. We invest heavily in the success of our Affiliates. FARO Sailing provides:

  • Ongoing training

  • Sales coaching and strategy

  • Events to attract new Subscribers

  • Social media presence

  • Boat shows and promotion

You are never alone in this journey.

16. What if I don’t reach 100% of SHARES by Year 5?

You can pay the difference at $1 = 1 SHARE to complete your ownership. You still save on interest, avoid debt, and sail throughout the process. 

17 Are the yachts really maintained at no cost to me?

Yes. All yachts are part of the FARO Sailing are Hassle-Free Maintenance Program, covering:

  • OEM-certified service

  • Real-time tracking of maintenance

  • Preventative care & normal wear

  • All at no cost to you during the program
